
DaeGu’s Kim Jong Hyun used a 237 final game win to upstage All Events gold medallist and teammate Kim Young Pyo in the final position round and lay claim to the Men’s Masters Championship jumping from third position after 15 games to first. Kim Young Pyo, although winning his final match was only able to muster a score of 213 with the win against Perry Ko of Kowloon’s 191. Kim Jong Hyun finished the 16 game set with a total score of 3628, six pins ahead of Kim Kyong Pyo’s 3622 while Ko dropped to third with a 3575 total.
Kim Jong Hyun held the top post throughout the second day of the Masters until the last game when Kim Jong Hyun bettered his score which was all he needed to bring him to the top.
Uiwang’s team of Kong Byoung Hee, Cha Ji Hyun, Won Jong Yoon finished 4th, 5th and 6th place respectively with scores of 3549, 3497 and 3475 followed by a pair of Tamuning competitors Jonathan Duenas and Brian Manibusan in 7th and 8th place on totals of 3425 and 3384.
